Govt High School, Kujendri

We are over here in the 110093 area of Delhi, running the Govt High School, Kujendri. It’s a pretty standard place if you walk by it on any given weekday. The morning starts early when the gates open and the students start trickling in from the nearby lanes. Most of the teachers have been here for years, so we all know each other’s coffee habits and which classrooms have the squeakiest fans. It’s not a fancy building with glass walls or anything like that. We have the usual desks, some of which have seen better days, and plenty of chalk dust everywhere. During the lunch break, the courtyard gets really loud with kids running around and shouting. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open, which they usually are because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. We handle the usual school business like paperwork, exams, and making sure the kids stay on track with their studies. Sometimes the rainy season makes the commute a bit of a mess for everyone, but we still show up and get the doors open. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood where people come to learn and move on to whatever is next in their lives. We don't have big speeches about what we do, we just open the gates and get to work every single morning without fail. It's a busy life here in this part of Delhi.
