Good For Being Luck Welfare Foundation

You can find us at House Number 561 on the ground floor in Village Rajokari. We are right near the Old Chopal, which is a place everyone around here knows. It’s a busy little area, but our office feels a bit more tucked away. The name Good For Being Luck Welfare Foundation is long, so we usually just call ourselves the foundation when we are talking to neighbors. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some sturdy tables and enough chairs for whoever stops by. Being on the ground floor is lucky because we don't have to deal with stairs when we are carrying supplies in and out. The air in Rajokari feels a bit different than the center of the city, maybe a little more relaxed. We spend a lot of time just chatting with people who live nearby. That’s how we find out what’s actually happening in the area. We don't have fancy brochures or a big sign out front. Most people find us by word of mouth or by asking around at the Chopal. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s a simple way of working, but it suits us just fine. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just want to do some good work in the village. It takes time to build trust and we are okay with that.
