Kirti Nagar is always a hub of activity with so many people moving around. Our spot is at E-37 in the industrial area. It’s not the quietest place to have a business, but it’s where all the action is. You’ve got trucks backing up, people shouting over the noise of machines, and the constant smell of diesel. We make bricks, so it’s a very hands-on kind of day for everyone here. We don’t sit in an office much. Usually, we are out checking the kilns or making sure the loading is going right onto the tempos. The ground is always covered in a layer of red dust. We’ve been in this unit for a long time, and the walls are covered in marks and some old calendars from years ago. We don't bother with fancy decorations because they’d just get dirty within an hour anyway. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when we have a big deadline to meet for a builder. We know the guys in the neighboring units, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. It’s a tight-knit community here in the industrial zone. We don’t have a website; we just rely on people knowing we’ve been here at E-37 for a long time. If you need bricks, you just show up and we talk about it.
