Gauri Shiksha Foundation

Gauri Shiksha Foundation is situated in East Delhi, specifically in Mayur Vihar Phase-III. You can find us at the Agarwal Kondli Plaza, Plot No 08, LSC-1. It’s a busy plaza, and our office is at number 250. Being in Kondli Gharoli means we see a lot of different people every day. We focus a lot on education because that’s what "Shiksha" is all about. But we aren't a school with a big playground. We’re more of a small office where we try to organize things to help people learn. It’s a lot of talking to parents and kids who live nearby. The office is often full of people, and it can get a bit loud, but we like it that way. It feels like we’re actually part of the neighborhood. We don’t have a lot of fancy teaching tools or high-tech gear. Mostly just some old desks and a few notebooks. The 110096 area has a lot of families, and we just try to fit in and help out where it’s needed. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just try to make sure some kids get a bit more help with their studies than they would otherwise. It’s a simple goal, and we work on it every day. It’s not always easy, and we run out of pens more often than we’d like, but we keep going.
