Gaiabharat Eco Care Foundation

Our office is at Turkman Gate, right on Asaf Ali Road. It’s House No. 2-A/3, on the second floor, front side. If you know Delhi, you know this part of the city is always moving and always loud. Gaiabharat Eco Care Foundation was set up here because we care about the environment, especially in crowded spots like this. We aren't some big NGO with a shiny glass building. We’re in a regular old building where the stairs are a bit steep and the walls have seen a lot of history. Working on eco-care stuff in 110002 means facing reality every day. It’s dusty and there’s a lot of trash, and we just try to do our part. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors or trying to figure out better ways to handle waste around the gate. We don't have a lot of money for fancy brochures. We just talk to people. Sometimes it’s frustrating when things don’t change fast, but we stay at it. It’s a small operation, just a few of us. We keep our files in old cabinets and use whatever furniture we could find. It feels real that way. We aren't here to put on a show. We’re just here because the air and the streets need someone to pay attention to them. If you’re passing by the Turkman Gate area, you’ll likely see us around.
