We are located at A 311 in Kaushal Puri, which is right in the Azadpur area of Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know Azadpur is one of the busiest spots you can find. Our office, G K Kedia Co Chartered Accountants, is tucked into this neighborhood where things are always moving. We spend a lot of our time buried under tax forms, audit reports, and tall stacks of paper. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do every day. The office isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put all the client files. During tax season, the lights stay on late and there is a lot of chai being drunk to keep us going. We’ve been in Kaushal Puri for a long time, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the Azadpur traffic. People from the local market often drop in with their receipts and books. We don’t have a fancy reception area with a coffee machine. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of calculators. We talk to people in plain English and try to explain their taxes without making it more confusing than it already is. It’s a busy life being a CA in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and try to get the filings done before the deadlines hit.
