G. D. Goenka Group

Our base is at R-706 in New Rajinder Nagar, right in the heart of New Delhi. Being part of the G. D. Goenka Group means we are always surrounded by stacks of papers and people coming in and out. This part of Delhi is always moving, and our office is no different. We deal with all sorts of administrative things for the schools and the other parts of the group. It is not a shiny corporate tower; it is just a regular building in a busy neighborhood. The rooms are filled with desks and old cupboards where we keep all the records. During the summer, the air conditioning struggles a bit, but we manage. We have a small pantry where we make tea and talk about the day. Most of our time is spent on the phone or typing up reports. It is a lot of coordination to keep everything running smoothly across so many locations. We know the local shops nearby and usually grab a quick lunch from one of the stalls on the corner. The work is steady and there is always something that needs fixing or a person who needs help with paperwork. We do not try to sound more important than we are. We are just the people in the office making sure the wheels keep turning. It is a lot of basic work, but it is what we do here in Rajinder Nagar every single day.
