G. Allied Service

We are located in the basement of the Sahyog Building which is at Shop 58 in Nehru Place. If you know Nehru Place you know it is a huge maze of buildings and shops. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the upper floors when the sun is really hot outside. It is a bit of a walk from the main road but once you find the Sahyog Building it is easy enough to get down to us. We do various service works and there is always something that needs fixing or checking. The office is small and we have a lot of tools and spare parts sitting on the shelves. It’s not the neatest place in the world but we know where everything is. Nehru Place is always loud with people shouting and machines running so the basement gives us a little bit of a break from all that noise. We see a lot of different people every day because there are so many businesses in this one area. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The floor is concrete and the walls are just plain. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as we can get the work done. It is a busy life in Kalkaji and we are just one small part of it.
