Our place is at 194 A.G.C.R. Enclave, which is quite close to the Karkardooma Court in East Delhi. The Foundation For Integrated Development And Sustainable Growth is based here. Being near the court means there are always lawyers and people rushing around the streets nearby. Our office is a bit more relaxed than that, though. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some plants that we try to keep alive. It’s a decent area, but the parking is a nightmare if you arrive after ten in the morning. We do a lot of planning and development work here, mostly sitting around the main table talking through projects. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so the AC is usually running full blast, which makes a lot of noise. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. It’s just a functional space where we can focus. We have a lot of paperwork because of all the sustainable growth stuff we track. The local market is just a short walk away, so we usually grab some snacks from there in the afternoon. It’s a good spot for us. We’ve been in East Delhi for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well. It’s just a group of us working hard to keep things moving forward in a sensible way. The building is older but it serves its purpose for us well enough. We keep the daily operations simple and direct.
