We set up our office at 153-A, Pocket-C in Vasant Kunj. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which helps because Foundation For Competitiveness And is all about thinking through tough problems. The name is a bit of a mouthful and ends kind of abruptly, we know. Most of the time we are just looking at how businesses and local groups can do things a little better so they don't get left behind. It’s not about being aggressive or anything like that. It is more about being smart and using what you have. We have a couple of old computers and some bookshelves that are way too full. The light in the morning is quite nice in the office. We don’t do big presentations or anything flashy. Usually, it is just us sitting around a table with some coffee, trying to figure out the best way forward for the folks we help. People from the area stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask what we are working on. Vasant Kunj is a good place to be based, even if the traffic is a bit much at five o’clock in the afternoon. We try to keep things simple and honest. No big fancy missions, just looking at facts and figures to help things grow. It is slow work sometimes, but we like it that way because it means we are being thorough and not rushing into things without thinking. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
