You can find us at Unit 256 in the Vardhman Star Citi Mall. It’s in Sector 7, Dwarka. Being in a mall is a bit different than a regular office building. There are always people walking past, and we can hear the music from the shops downstairs. It’s a lively place. Our unit is small, just enough room for a few computers and some chairs for visitors. We chose this spot because it’s easy for people to reach. Dwarka is big, but everyone knows the LSC-III area. We spend our days mostly on the phone or typing away at our desks. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. Fem World Foundation has been around for a bit now. We don't have a giant staff, just a few dedicated people who show up every morning. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall is too cold, so we wear sweaters even in July. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on the task list for the day. Sometimes we grab lunch at the food court when we are too busy to go home. It’s a practical location for a foundation like ours. We like the energy of the mall and the people we meet here. It feels real and grounded. There is always something happening outside our door which keeps things interesting for us.
