Our place is up on the first floor at D-5/11 in Vasant Vihar. It’s a quiet corner of New Delhi, which suits us just fine. Eva Art Studio Private Limited isn't some massive corporation; it’s just a handful of people who show up every morning to get things going. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but you get used to them after a few weeks. We spend most of our days surrounded by various projects and a fair amount of clutter, to be honest. It’s not a showroom or anything like that. It’s a working studio. Vasant Vihar is a nice area to be based in because it feels established and calm compared to other parts of the city. We have our routine. Usually, the kettle is the first thing that goes on when the first person arrives. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy reception area. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. Some days are longer than others, especially when we’re trying to finish something important. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It’s a straightforward setup. No frills. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep the studio organized, even if we fail at that sometimes. Living and working in Delhi means there’s always something happening outside, but up here on the first floor, we just do our own thing. It's a decent place to spend the day.
