Engineering Point

Engineering Point is located at H No-138 in Khayala, which is right in the thick of things in New Delhi. If you know Khayala, you know it’s a busy place with lots of small businesses and houses all mixed together. Our spot is basically a house turned into a workspace, so it feels very lived-in. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us well enough. Most of the time, the front room is full of tools and spare parts because we are always fixing or designing something for a client. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is located even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in from the street. The noise from the narrow lanes outside can get loud with the rickshaws and people talking, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the long afternoons. We don't have any big signs or anything like that, just the house number on the wall. The work is mostly practical stuff, solving problems for people who need engineering help without all the corporate talk. It’s a tough city to work in sometimes, but being right here in the middle of the community makes it easier to get things done. We just take it one day at a time.
