You can find us in the basement of K 13A in Kalkaji. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer but we have to keep the lights on all day. We make furniture for offices and houses. It’s mostly desks, cabinets, and those modular sets that people like these days. We have saws and edge-banding machines taking up most of the space. It’s not a quiet place. When we are working on a big order for a company, the whole basement smells like wood glue and sawdust. We’ve been in Kalkaji for quite a bit now. It’s a busy neighborhood and getting big boards of wood down the stairs can be a real workout sometimes. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just us showing people the materials we use and explaining how the drawers slide or how the hinges work. We like using materials that last because nobody wants a desk that wobbles after a month. We do the designs ourselves or sometimes people bring in their own ideas they saw somewhere. We just take the measurements and get to work. It’s practical stuff for everyday use. We don't do that super fancy antique stuff, just modern pieces that fit into regular rooms. Most days we are just busy with the machines and trying to get the orders finished on time for the local customers.
