El Mech Engineers

El Mech Engineers is up on the third floor of C23/B2 in Sanwal Nagar. Being in New Delhi-49 means we’re tucked into a busy corner of the city. The climb up the stairs can be a bit much in the peak of summer, but the office itself is a decent place once you get settled. We have a few workstations set up with computers and some drafting tables that take up most of the floor space. It’s not a massive operation, just a handful of us working on various projects. The windows look out over the rooftops of Sanwal Nagar, and you can see the daily life of the neighborhood unfolding below. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area because it keeps us moving through the long afternoons. There are rolls of drawings leaning against the walls and stacks of technical books that have been there for years. We don’t bother with much decoration; the work takes up all the room anyway. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we’re trying to meet a deadline, and the printers are running non-stop. We’ve found that being in this part of Delhi makes it easy to get around, even if parking is always a headache. It’s a functional space where we put in the hours, focusing on the technical side of things without any unnecessary extras. We just try to get the drawings right and keep our clients satisfied.
