Ek Kadam Aage Foundation

Ek Kadam Aage Foundation is based in Uttam Nagar. We are at flat number 106 in block N, specifically street number 4 of Vijay Vihar. It’s a very residential area, so it feels like being part of a community rather than a business district. Our office is just a regular flat. We’ve got N44 on the door so people can find us. It’s a bit crowded in this part of Delhi, but we like the energy. We start our day early before the streets get too packed. There’s always something to do, whether it’s answering emails or talking to folks from the neighborhood. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things moving forward. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the office to doing the accounts. It’s hard work but it feels right. Vijay Vihar has its own pace, and we’ve fit right into it. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is a bit slow, but that’s just life here. We don't try to act like we’re bigger than we are. We are just a local group working out of a flat in Uttam Nagar. We keep it simple and stay focused on the tasks at hand every single day. Even when the fan gets noisy in the afternoon, we just keep typing away and getting things ready for the next day of work.
