Educomp Solutions

Over in the Puri area of New Delhi, specifically in the 110018 zip code, you will find our workspace. It is a typical Delhi setup with lots of movement and noise coming from the streets. We work on various educational solutions, mostly just sitting at our desks and typing away on the keyboards. The office is in a building that has been around for a long time. It has that old Delhi charm, but also the old plumbing that goes with it. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and trying to figure out how to make things work better for the schools we help. It is not a glamorous job, but it is honest work. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, which is basically what keeps us going through the afternoon slumps. The Puri neighborhood is always crowded, so getting to work can be a bit of a struggle in the mornings. Once we are inside, though, it’s just us and the work. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. Instead, we have calendars with deadlines circled in red marker. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the sound of the city starts to quiet down a little bit. We have been in New Delhi for a while now and we have seen the area change, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It is just a group of people doing their best with what we have each day.
