Reinventing Creations

Up in Dwarka Sector 22, we have our little spot for Reinventing Creations. It’s a bit of a mixture of an office and a workshop, depending on what day you catch us. We spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to make new things or improve on stuff that already exists. It’s not always a smooth process; there are plenty of days where nothing seems to go right and we end up with a pile of discarded ideas in the corner. Dwarka is a busy area, but once you step inside our door, it’s just us and the projects we’re working on. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall or a corporate handbook. We just show up, have some tea or coffee, and get to work. The desks are usually messy with sketches, samples, and different materials we’re testing out. It’s a small operation, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to packing up orders for people. We’ve learned to be patient because good things take time to put together. Sometimes we stay late when a project gets interesting, and other times we head out early when the brain just stops working. It’s a very human way to run a business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make some interesting things right here in Sector 22 and hope people find them useful in their own lives.
