Durlabhclap Foundation

Durlabhclap Foundation operates out of Sultanpur, specifically House No. 185. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from this part of New Delhi, but it's where we've set up shop. The Kharsra No. 556 marker helps if you’re looking at a map. It’s a modest place. We aren't a big corporation with a skyscraper office. It's just a house that we use for our foundation's work. It feels very grounded being in Sultanpur. The neighborhood is a mix of homes and small businesses. We see the same neighbors every morning. Working from here keeps us connected to the reality of the city. There’s always something happening on the street outside. Maybe a cat sleeping on a wall or kids playing nearby. Our interior is pretty basic. We’ve got some tables and chairs and whatever equipment we need at the moment. It gets the job done. We spend most of our time planning and talking through things. It’s not always pretty, sometimes it’s a bit messy with papers everywhere, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually working. We don’t put on any acts. We are just a group of people trying to keep this foundation running from this little corner of Delhi. It’s quiet enough to think but busy enough to feel like you’re part of the world. We've got an old cooler that makes a lot of noise, but it keeps the room decent when the sun is hitting the walls.
