My clinic is located at 234, Neelgiri Apartment in the Alaknanda area. It is directly opposite St. Geroge School, which makes it very easy for patients to find. I’ve been practicing here for a long time. The clinic is set up inside a residential apartment, so it has a very different feel than a hospital. It is a bit more personal and less intimidating. The waiting area is just a small room with a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. I don't have a lot of assistants. Usually, it’s just me and one person to help with the paperwork and the patients. We see people from all walks of life who live in and around Alaknanda. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though you can hear the school activities across the road during the day. I keep my medical books and patient records on simple wooden shelves behind my desk. There are no fancy digital displays or high-tech decor in the room. I prefer it this way because it feels more honest to me. My day usually involves listening to people and trying to figure out the best way to help them. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much for the older patients when the lift is acting up, but we manage somehow. It’s a modest practice focused on the local community. I’ve lived and worked here for so long that many patients feel like friends. That is enough for me.
