Dev General Store

You can find us on Old Rangpuri Road in Mahipal Pur. It’s a busy little stretch of road with people always moving. We’ve been running this general store for some time now. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We have shelves lined with all the usual stuff people need for their homes like soap, snacks, and basic supplies. The shop isn’t very big, so things can get a bit cramped when several people come in at once. We don’t have any fancy lights or air conditioning. Just a couple of old fans to keep the air moving during the heat. Mahipal Pur is a fast-moving area because it’s so close to the airport, but our specific street feels a bit more like a small village sometimes. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through to the airport, and others have lived in these houses for decades. We try to keep everything in stock so nobody has to go all the way to the bigger markets across the highway. The floor is just plain concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn’t stop us from doing our work. We open up early in the morning and don’t close until late at night. It’s a lot of hours, but we are used to the routine by now. We don’t have any big corporate story. We just sell things and talk to our neighbors. It’s a practical life, and it keeps us busy.
