Delhi

We have been at the ground floor of Mehak Apartments in Zakir Nagar for a good while now. It is just a small place, really. You might have walked past 575/7 many times without noticing us. That is okay. We like the quiet here, even if New Delhi 25 gets a bit loud outside during the busy hours. My cousin and I mostly run things. We keep the doors open through the day. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we spend half our time cleaning up. It is not some fancy office with glass walls. It is just where we work and handle our daily business. We started this because we needed something to do close to home. Now, we know most of the people living in the building above us. It feels more like a community spot than a regular company. We don’t have a big sign or anything. If you are looking for us, just look for the green door near the corner. It gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people show up at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background, mostly old songs. It helps the day go by faster when things are slow. We don't really have a big plan for the future. We just want to keep things going as they are. It’s a simple life here in Zakir Nagar and we are happy with that.
