Delhi Police Public School

Down at B-4 in Safdarjung Enclave, you’ll find Delhi Police Public School. It’s been here for quite a while, serving the families in this part of the city. The building is tucked away in the enclave, and it’s got a bit of a history to it. It’s not a brand-new glass structure; it’s a place made of brick and mortar that has stood the test of time. We’ve got kids running through the halls from early morning until the afternoon bell. The staff here are mostly local people who know the area well. We don't have a lot of fancy technology in every single room, but we have what’s needed to teach. The playground gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that doesn't stop anyone from playing. We keep the place clean as best we can, though with so many feet coming through, it’s a constant job. It’s a school where things are done the old-fashioned way sometimes. We value the routine. There are trees around the perimeter that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. Parents come by the gate to drop off lunch boxes they forgot, and the guards know most of the faces. It’s that kind of place. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just open the doors every day and get to work helping the kids learn their subjects.
