Association Of Competitive Telecom Operators (Acto)

Our office is up on the 6th floor of Nirmal Tower, which is at 26 Barakhamba Road right in the middle of Connaught Place. Being in CP means we are right in the thick of everything in Delhi. The building is an older one, and the elevators can be a bit slow when everyone is trying to get to work at the same time. At the Association Of Competitive Telecom Operators, we spend a lot of time in meetings or sitting around the big table talking about the industry. The view from the windows shows all the other tall buildings and the constant movement on the streets below. Our space is filled with desks and a lot of folders. It is a busy atmosphere because there is always something happening in the telecom world that we need to keep track of. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture; it is just a functional space where we can get our heads together. Most of us have been here long enough to know the best spots for a quick lunch around Barakhamba Road. The office can get a bit cluttered with reports and documents, and sometimes the phones don't stop ringing all afternoon. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized. It is a solid place to work from, and being so central makes it easy for people to drop by for a quick chat.
