Deepayan Vidya Niketan

Down here at 29 Harsh Vihar Pitampura, things stay pretty busy from early morning until the sun goes down. Deepayan Vidya Niketan is tucked away in the neighborhood, so most of the folks living around here know exactly where we are located. You can hear the kids laughing during their break times from a few houses away. It is not a giant, cold institution; it feels more like a regular part of the street. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space for the children to run around. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much during drop-off, but we manage to get everyone inside safely. Inside, it is mostly about the books, the blackboards, and trying to keep the kids focused on what they need to learn for the day. The walls have some old posters and some drawings the students made last month. We are not trying to be anything flashy or modern. We are just a school where the local families send their kids. It is a lot of work keeping up with the schedules and making sure the gates are locked at the right time. Everyone knows the staff members by their names. We see the same faces every morning at the entrance. It feels like a small world inside these walls. The school has been part of Pitampura for a long time, and we just take things one day at a time, making sure the building stays in good shape.
