Spectrum Medical Devices

Our workplace is located in Okhla Phase 1, inside the DDA Sheds at B-153. We are up on the first floor. If you know Okhla, you know it’s a very industrial part of the city with lots of small factories and workshops. We deal with medical devices, mostly supplying them to clinics and hospitals that need reliable equipment. It’s a practical environment here. There are no polished floors or big glass windows. We have metal shelves filled with various medical tools and machines. The air is often filled with the sounds of the units nearby, which can get quite loud during the middle of the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails about parts and delivery schedules. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just have to wait it out. It’s just part of being in this industrial estate. We take our lunch breaks together in the small area near the back. It’s a simple operation where we focus on knowing our inventory and making sure things get shipped to the right doctors. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation; we just want to manage our supplies well. The stairs can be a bit tricky when we are carrying heavy boxes, but we are used to it by now. It’s a steady, honest kind of job for the team here.
