Dav Public School

Our school, Dav Public School, is located at C-6/379 in Yamuna Vihar. It’s right in the middle of a busy part of Delhi, so there’s always noise from the street outside. The building has been here for quite a while and it shows its age in some spots. We have classrooms filled with wooden desks that have seen better days, but they do the job well enough for the students. We don’t have a huge campus with a football field, just a courtyard where the kids play during their breaks. It gets quite loud during recess, as you can imagine. The teachers have their own small room where they keep their bags and grade papers during their free periods. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in there at once. We don't have a big budget for fancy gadgets, so we use what we have. Most of the kids live within walking distance, so the gates are always busy in the morning and afternoon. We have a small office near the entrance where we handle the records and talk to parents. It’s a lot of routine stuff like making schedules and making sure the bells ring on time. The walls are covered in student drawings and old charts that have been there for years. We aren't a high-end private school with a swimming pool. We are just a local school trying to get through the curriculum every year.
