Council For Redressal And Development Of Industries In India is located at 3/14, on the 4th floor, on Asaf Ali Road in Daryaganj. We are right near the Delite Cinema, which is a big landmark in this part of New Delhi. Being on the 4th floor means we have a bit of a climb, but it also gets us away from the immediate noise of the street traffic below. Daryaganj is a historic area, very old and very busy with all sorts of trade. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, fitting in with the rest of the buildings on Asaf Ali Road. We spend our days dealing with various industrial matters, mostly reading through reports and handling a lot of mail. The office has that old Delhi feel to it—thick walls and high ceilings, but it can get quite warm in the summer months even with the fans. We have some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, but they still hold all our important papers and records. It’s not a flashy place at all. It’s just a functional workspace where we can sit down and get through the mountain of work we usually have every week. We usually grab lunch from one of the local spots nearby because the food in Daryaganj is great. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; it’s just us doing the daily grind in a part of the city that’s always moving and shaking.
