Community Initiative Foundation

Our office is tucked away in Baprola Vihar, Nangloi, specifically at HNO. D-678 in the Dass Garden area. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren’t from around this part of New Delhi, but it’s where we feel most at home. The Community Initiative Foundation is basically just us trying to do some good right here where we live. We aren't a big organization with a lot of funding or anything. Mostly, we sit around the desk and talk about what the local neighborhood needs, whether it's something for the kids or just keeping the area clean. The KH NO. 43/22 area can be a bit tricky to find if you’re looking at a map, but once you get to Dass Garden, people usually know where D-678 is. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few chairs and a lot of papers scattered around. It feels more like a house than a workplace, which I think makes people feel more comfortable when they come in. We get a lot of noise from the street, and there’s always someone stopping by to say hello or ask a question. We don't have any big speeches or grand plans, just a bunch of small tasks that need doing every day to help the folks around us. It’s honest work and we enjoy being part of the local life here.
