Come And Play Sports Foundation

Our group, Come And Play Sports Foundation, is located over at A-872A in Shyam Colony. We are specifically down Gali Number 25 in Phase 2 of Budh Vihar. If you know North West Delhi, you know it gets pretty busy around here. We started this because we saw so many kids just sitting around or stuck on their phones all day long. We thought it would be better if they had a reason to get outside and actually move. Sports seemed like the easiest way to do that. It doesn't have to be anything professional, just playing and having fun. Our space in Budh Vihar is where we organize everything. We talk to parents and try to find places where the kids can run around. It is not always easy with the limited space in the city, but we manage. Sometimes the weather is too hot or it's raining, but we try to keep things going regardless. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the local kids active. We don’t have any fancy equipment or big stadiums. It is more about the community and getting neighbors involved. People in Shyam Colony know us by now. We are just regular people who like sports and want to see the younger generation enjoy it too. It’s hard work sometimes but seeing them play makes it worth it for us in the end.
