You can find us at 4837 on the ground floor of Ahata Kidara, which is in the Bara Hindu Rao area. This part of Delhi is very old and incredibly busy. The lanes are narrow, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Collective Human Actions For Development is right in the thick of it. Our office is just a simple ground floor room that opens onto the street. It’s not fancy at all. The walls are a bit stained, and it’s always noisy with the sound of rickshaws and people passing by. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We don't have any corporate hierarchy or polished image. It’s just a few of us trying to help out where we can. We take things as they come. Some days the place is packed with people, and other days it’s just us sitting around talking about the next thing to do. It’s a very local way of working. We don't use big, complicated words to explain ourselves. We are just regular people working in one of the most crowded parts of New Delhi. It can be exhausting with all the noise and dust, but we are used to it. We don't need a fancy office to do what we do. It’s just honest work in a very real part of the city, and we like being right here where the people are.
