You can find us at Site No-2 on the first floor in Pocket-OCF, right over in Sector-C. We are pretty close to the Vasant Kunj police station, so it’s easy to give directions. At Collaborative Philanthropy Foundation, we basically spend our time trying to connect people who want to give with the people who actually need it. It sounds simple, but it takes a lot of phone calls and sitting around the office. The space isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of notebooks. We aren't a big corporate entity; we’re just a handful of folks who think that if people worked together more, things would get done faster. Vasant Kunj is a busy part of Delhi, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We don't have a lot of rules about how we do things, we just try to be practical. If someone has a problem and someone else has a solution, we try to put them in the same room. Sometimes it works out great, and sometimes it takes a few tries. We don’t do this for the glory or to look good on paper. We just live here and want to see things improve. It’s a lot of coordination, and our coffee machine breaks more than we’d like, but we stay busy anyway.
