Coffee And Cultural Heritage Foundation

We’re over at D-189 on the ground floor in Saket. The Coffee And Cultural Heritage Foundation started because a few of us really liked talking about old traditions and, well, drinking coffee. It’s a pretty simple setup. We have some tables and chairs and a lot of books about the history of the area. Saket has changed a lot over the years, and we don’t want people to forget how things used to be. We spend a lot of time just chatting with anyone who walks in. It’s not a fancy cafe where you just buy a drink and leave. We want people to stay and maybe learn something about our local heritage. The ground floor spot is nice because people can just see us from the street and pop in. Sometimes we have small displays of old photos or items from the neighborhood. It’s not a museum, just our way of keeping things alive. The coffee isn’t anything gourmet, just a good cup to keep the conversation going. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to keep our local stories from fading away. It gets a bit dusty with all the old papers around, but we like the atmosphere.
