Coachpur Foundation

Coachpur Foundation is tucked away in the basement of House Number 239 in Chandan Holla village. We’re right near the MCD school, which makes it easy for people to find us if they know the neighborhood. Being in South West Delhi, we see a lot of kids and young people who just need a bit of extra help with their studies or figuring out what to do next. It’s a basement, so it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief when we have people over. We aren't some big institution with a lot of money. We’re just a small group trying to provide a space where learning can actually happen. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but that’s part of it. We deal with regular problems like broken chairs or the internet acting up, but we keep going. The village life is busy, and we’re right in the middle of it. We don’t have fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find out about us by word of mouth from their neighbors. We just want to see the local kids do okay for themselves. It’s basic work, but it feels right to do it here in Chandan Holla. We’re usually there most afternoons if the lights are on and someone needs a hand with their homework.
