Clean Future Foundation

You can find us at Flat No. 5-H in Pocket-4 of Kondli Gharoli, over in East Delhi. It’s a residential pocket, so it feels very much like a home environment rather than a stiff office building. We work out of this flat, and it’s got a very lived-in feel to it. There’s a small kitchen area where we make coffee and a main room where all the desks are pushed against the walls to make space. Kondli Gharoli is a busy residential area, so there are always sounds of the neighborhood around us—people calling out, cars parking, and the general hum of Delhi life. Our space is filled with boxes of materials and piles of documents because there’s always something going on. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a few extra lamps when it gets dark outside. We don’t have a fancy reception or a person to open the door; usually, one of us just gets up when we hear the bell. The walls have some marks where we’ve moved stuff around, and the floor is just basic tile. It’s a practical place for us to be based. We spend our time coordinating things and talking to people on the phone. It’s not a polished corporate setup, but it’s where the actual work gets done. We like being part of the local community here in East Delhi. It keeps us grounded and reminds us why we started this foundation and why we stay in this neighborhood.
