Chhabra Electronics

You can find us over in Dilshad Garden, specifically in the Damodar Park Industrial Area along G T Road. Chhabra Electronics has been at this 41614 location for a long time now. The building is typical for this area, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly workbenches, soldering irons, and a lot of wires. We deal with all sorts of electronic components and repairs. It gets quite dusty with the industrial traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the counters. Most of the guys here have been working with electronics since they were kids. We don’t really have a front desk or a receptionist; you usually just walk in and find someone at a desk covered in circuit boards. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the noise of G T Road right outside. We get a lot of people dropping off things that stopped working, hoping we can find a spare part in one of our many drawers. It takes a bit of patience to figure out some of these issues, so there’s often a lot of head-scratching going on. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just trying to keep the machines running for the people who bring them in. The light isn't great in the back, but we have some good lamps for the detailed work. It’s just a regular local shop doing its thing day in and day out. We hope the power doesn't cut out today.
