Chetna Rotibank Foundation

We’re over at Lajpat Nagar, right in Defence Colony on the second floor of D-1. It’s a busy spot, usually a lot of people moving around downstairs, but it gets a bit quieter once you walk up the stairs to see us. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done every day. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit long if you’ve been out in the sun all afternoon, but that’s just how it is here. Most days start early with someone making tea and checking what needs to be sorted for the day. Being in Lajpat Nagar means there’s always noise from the market nearby, which keeps things lively. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and everyone around here knows where D-1 is. It’s a solid old building. The rooms are filled with papers and folders, and there’s always a fan whirring somewhere in the corner to keep the air moving. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us sitting at a desk or moving boxes around. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in. It gets dusty pretty fast because of the traffic outside, so there’s a lot of cleaning to do. But we like it here. It feels like we’re right in the middle of everything that happens in this part of Delhi.
