Lajpat Nagar is a famous place for shopping, so the streets around us are usually packed with cars and people looking for deals. Our building is one of the older ones, an old double-storey structure that has a lot of character. The office is on the upper floor, so you have to climb a few steps to get to us. It is a bit of a traditional setup inside. We have big wooden tables and those heavy metal filing cabinets that last forever. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with tax season to worry about that right now. We work with a lot of small shops and residents from around the area. Delhi is a city that never really sleeps, and we stay pretty late ourselves most nights. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with, especially when the end of the financial year comes around. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. It is a plain, hardworking office where we focus on getting the numbers right and making sure all the forms are filed where they need to go.
