Chandra & Associates (C.A.)

Chandra & Associates is based over in Gali Number 8 in Laxmi Nagar. If you know Laxmi Nagar, you know it’s the heart of the accounting world in New Delhi. Our office at D-150 is usually pretty busy. There are always people coming in and out with documents. It’s a bit of a maze in these lanes, but we like it here. We do a lot of tax work and auditing, which means our desks are usually covered in ledger books and printed forms. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a local feel where everyone knows each other. Gali Number 8 is a bit narrow, and finding parking can be a real nightmare, so most of us just take the metro or walk. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with files from years ago. It’s a bit dusty, but it’s our space. We often have clients sitting in the small waiting area, and sometimes they have to wait a while if we’re stuck on a call. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to people. We just try to explain things in a way that makes sense. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and vendors, but once you’re inside, we just focus on the tasks at hand. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’re glad to be part of the community.
