You can find us at 1570 Bhagirath Palace, which is right in the heart of Chandni Chowk. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people everywhere. It’s the biggest medical market around, so there is always a lot of shouting and rickshaws moving past our shop. We have been in this spot for quite a long time now. We handle all sorts of surgical items and medical goods for Jaiveer Surgical Emporium. The shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Working in Chandni Chowk means you have to be fast because there’s no room to stand still for too long. We get a lot of wholesalers and hospital staff coming through our doors every single day. The electricity can be a bit hit or miss in these old buildings, and the alleys are narrow, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. It’s where all the action is. We just focus on getting the right items to the right people. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know the trade and we know the people in the market. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. We just take it one day at a time without overthinking.
