Centre For Management Development

The Centre For Management Development is over at New Friends Colony, number 18. This part of Delhi is actually quite pleasant, with some nice parks and shops nearby. Our office is in one of those older buildings where you have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to us. We have several rooms set up for training sessions and meetings. It’s not a huge place, but it’s enough for what we do day to day. We have a lot of whiteboards that are usually covered in scribbles and diagrams from whatever workshop happened the day before. The carpet is a little worn out in the hallways where people walk back and forth between sessions. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always boiling because we drink a lot of tea and coffee to stay alert. People from different companies come here to take our courses, so we see a lot of new faces every week. It’s a pretty friendly atmosphere, not too stiff or formal despite the corporate-sounding name. We usually order lunch from one of the small shops in the market nearby, and we eat together in the break room if we aren't too busy with a class. There is nothing very flashy about the place, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the training done and making sure people have what they need while they are here for the day.
