We’ve been at this spot in Chanakyapuri for a good while now. Shantipath is usually pretty quiet, which is nice for getting work done without too much noise from the main roads. The building at No. 1/40- G isn't the newest on the block, but it serves us well. Most mornings, the staff filters in around nine, and the kettle is the first thing that goes on. We spend a lot of time at our desks dealing with the paperwork and logistics that come with being in the pharma industry here in India. It gets busy, especially when there are shipments moving or new regulations to read through. The office itself has a few plants that someone remembers to water occasionally, and the windows give a decent view of the street. Sometimes it feels like we’re always playing catch-up with the filing, but that’s just how it goes. If you’re coming by, you just look for the gate near the corner. It's a straightforward place. We just handle the day-to-day operations and try to keep things organized. There’s a tea stall not too far away where some of the guys go during the afternoon break. It’s a stable routine we’ve got going on here. The neighbors are mostly other offices and some residences, so it’s a decent mix. We’re used to the quirks of the building, like the door sticking in the humidity. It’s just home for Cadilla Pharma Ltd. India. The commute for most of us isn't too bad. We’ve got a small cupboard for lunch boxes.
