Connaught Place is always a whirlwind, and we are right in the thick of it at K-40. Being on the Outer Circle, opposite PVR Plaza, means there is never a dull moment. You can hear the city moving outside all day long. This Byju office isn't like the ones you might see in those glossy advertisements. It’s a working space in an old building with high ceilings and those heavy doors. We spend our time here dealing with files, talking to parents, and making sure the tech is working. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes if you aren't used to these CP blocks. We don't have a lot of corporate fluff here. It’s just people sitting at desks doing their jobs. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we take the stairs. The windows look out onto the busy street, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. We’ve had all sorts of people walk through these doors. Some are just looking for the cinema across the street and got turned around. We don't mind. It’s a very grounded atmosphere despite being in such a famous location. We eat our lunch at the small dhabas nearby when we can. There is no grand mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes taped up. We just keep things moving, day in and day out, in this busy corner of Delhi.
