Our place is tucked away in Prem Nagar, specifically in Mandir Wali Gali. If you find the house number 7259/1, that is where we are. It’s a narrow lane, so you have to be careful if you’re coming on a bike. The temple is right nearby, so we hear the bells and the prayers every day, which is actually quite nice when you’re trying to focus on books. We have a few rooms set up for the students. It’s Abhyaas Studies Pvt Ltd, so it’s all about getting through the syllabus. We have some old wooden benches and a few plastic chairs we bought later on when more kids started coming. The walls have some posters about science and history, mostly to cover up some of the damp spots from the last monsoon. It’s a practical space. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that we have to keep oiled so they don't squeak. The lighting is okay, we put in some extra tubes last month. Dealing with Mandir Wali Gali can be a bit of a squeeze during festival times, but the neighbors are all good people. We usually have some snacks and tea in the back room for the teachers. It’s just a local study center where everyone knows each other. We’ve been at 7259/1 for a few years now and haven't felt the need to move. Most of the kids come from the nearby blocks and just walk over here after school.
