We are based at 78D, in the DDA Flats in Pocket A. It’s right there on the Ring Road in the Vikaspuri Extension part of New Delhi. Being near such a big road means it is always noisy outside with the cars and buses going by. The office isn't much to look at, just a few rooms filled with desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We have lived-in furniture and a lot of paper stacked up on the side tables. It’s a small group of us here. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just come in, check the mail, and get to work on whatever is on the desk that morning. Usually, it’s a lot of coordinating and making sure things are where they should be. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a small kettle for making tea when someone feels like it. Sometimes the neighbors from the other flats pop in to say hello. It feels like a normal part of the community. We don’t really do big meetings. We just talk across the room if something comes up. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when we have a lot of stuff to sort through, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been here for a while now and the area feels like home. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing.
