Bhawani Store

If you are driving along the Ring Road in Naraina, you might see Bhawani Store at Shop No-62. We are situated in the Local Shopping Complex. It’s a handy location for people living in this part of Delhi 110028. We’ve been running this shop for a good while now. We handle all kinds of groceries and household goods. The complex can be a bit quiet during the day, but it picks up in the evening when everyone gets home. We spend a lot of time checking the shelves to see what’s running low. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags of rice and flour. My back feels it at the end of the day. We are just a local family trying to make a living. There aren't any corporate managers or big bosses here. If you have a problem, you just talk to me directly at the counter. We keep a diary for some of the regular credit customers, the old-school way. It still works for us. The noise from the Ring Road is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a few years. We try to keep the floor clean, though dust from the road always finds a way in. We just sweep it out every morning and keep going. It’s a honest day’s work for us and we enjoy seeing the regulars come by.
