We are located in the Okhla Industrial Estate, specifically at Dda Shed E 50. Being in the Kalkaji area means there is always a lot of movement. Most of our regulars are workers from the nearby factories who need something quick on their break or before they head home. We stock a bit of everything, from snacks and cold drinks to small hardware bits that people often lose. The shed can get pretty hot in the summer months, but we have a big old fan that keeps the air moving. It’s an industrial vibe here, so there is always the sound of machines or trucks in the background. We have been in this spot for a long time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy keeping the shelves full to worry about that. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the exact shed number among all these blocks, so I often have to step outside to wave them down. It’s a practical place for practical people. No one comes here for the decor; they come because they know we likely have that one specific thing they forgot to buy elsewhere. We just keep our heads down and work. It is nice seeing the same faces every day, knowing exactly what they are going to ask for before they even say it. It’s a bit dusty, but we don’t mind it much.
