Bharat Fire Company

We are located at 90 Church Road in the Jangpura area, right near Bhogal. If you know the neighborhood, it's quite a lively spot. Bharat Fire Company has been operating out of this space for some time. We deal with fire safety stuff, mostly extinguishers and equipment like that. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The shop isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives. You'll usually find us moving heavy red tanks around or checking valves. The traffic on Church Road is always something to deal with, especially in the afternoons. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know most of the people passing by. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It's just a practical space where we get the work done. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it's quiet enough to read the paper. We just focus on getting the right equipment to the people who ask for it. It's important stuff, I guess, though we don't think about it that way. We just see it as our daily business. If you’re around Bhogal, you can’t miss us. The door is usually open unless the weather is really bad. We just stay here and handle whatever comes our way day by day. It is a lot of lifting and checking, but it is steady.
