We are based over on Rama Road, not far from the Kirti Nagar Metro Station. You can hear the trains passing by every few minutes if the windows are open. Our office is 33/33/A. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there is always a lot of dust and the sound of trucks unloading. Inside our place, it’s mostly about the smell of ink and the sound of the paper feeders. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we have a couple of large fans that help a bit. The staff usually has their lunch together in the small corner we cleared out between the stacks of paper. We have been printing for quite a while, so we don't really think about the noise anymore. The desks are covered in proofs and order forms that seem to multiply every day. We don't have any polished floors or glass partitions. It is just a working print shop where things get a bit greasy and loud. We spend our time loading reams of paper and checking the alignment on the plates. It’s hard work on the back, standing all day, but we are used to it. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the exact door, so we end up waving them down from the street. It’s just a normal day at the shop for us here on Rama Road.
