Asian Academy is located right in the middle of the Al Market in Pitampura. We are at Al138, which is a busy spot regardless of what time of day it is. Being in the market means there is always a lot of noise coming from outside—people shouting, horns honking, and the general bustle of shoppers. Inside the academy, we try to keep things a bit more focused. We have simple classrooms with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The walls aren't decorated with anything fancy, just maybe a few charts or schedules pinned up. It’s a practical space where we spend our hours teaching and working with the students who come through our doors. Pitampura is a crowded part of Delhi, and the market area is even more so, but it’s a convenient location for people to reach us. Sometimes the stairs up to our unit are a bit dark, and the hallway can get cramped if a class is just letting out, but it works for what we need. We aren't trying to be a big fancy university or something; we are just a local place where people come to learn things. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are part of the local scene here. We see the same faces every morning at the tea stall downstairs before we start our sessions. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of atmosphere for us and we just get on with it.
